Cookie policy

1. Data controller
Infordata Sistemi S.r.l. Società Benefit, Strada per Vienna 55/1, 34151 Trieste (TS), Italy. VAT 00933570327. PEC: [email protected].
2. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores on a visitor's device. Similar technologies — such as the browser's local storage — store information on the device without using cookies. In this notice, "cookies" covers those too.
Some services store nothing on your device but still require a connection to a third party's server, and the request alone tells that server your IP address. Those cases are described below as well, and they too are subject to consent.
3. Necessary cookies (always on)
These make the site work or carry out a choice you made. Under Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive they do not require consent.
inf-consent— first-party cookie, 12 months. It records the choice you made on the banner: which categories you accepted, the version of this notice you answered, the date, and a random identifier. It is what stops the banner reappearing on every page, and what keeps anything you did not accept from loading.ifc-theme— local storage, no expiry. Written only if you use the light/dark theme control, solely so the site opens in the same mode next time. It stays on your device and is never sent to any server.- Contact-form protection — the technical measures described in section 6.
Your language is not stored: it is determined by the page address (/it/… or /en/…).
4. Statistics (with your consent)
If you accept the Statistics category, the site loads Google Analytics 4 (property G-MF677XV1L2), provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. It tells us which pages are useful and how to improve them.
- Cookies used:
_gaand_ga_MF677XV1L2, first-party, lasting 400 days (about 13 months). - Data processed: pages visited, date and time, time on site, where you arrived from, device and browser type, and your IP address (used by Google in anonymised form and not retained).
- The site explicitly instructs Google not to use this data for advertising: Google signals, ad personalisation and the related storage are switched off.
- Data may be transferred outside the European Economic Area under the standard contractual clauses adopted by Google. See Google's Privacy Policy.
Without your consent none of this is loaded and Google receives nothing.
5. Third-party content (with your consent)
If you accept the Third-party content category, the site shows the reviews collected through Feedaty — the carousel on the home page and the small badge in the footer — provided by Feedaty S.r.l., Via Felice Casati 1/A, 20124 Milan, Italy.
- Loading the widget opens a connection to Feedaty's servers (
widget.feedaty.com), which tells Feedaty your IP address, your browser type and the page the widget sits on. - As at the date of this notice the widget sets no cookies on your device and writes nothing to local storage; consent is required for the disclosure of data to a third party, not for storage. Should that change, this notice will be updated.
- See Feedaty's Privacy Policy.
The same category covers the other content this site receives from outside providers:
- Video hosted on Vimeo and YouTube, on some project pages and on the home page. When the player loads — not only when you press play — the provider receives your IP address and may set its own cookies: measured, Vimeo sets the technical cookie
__cf_bm. The players are embedded through the addresses that limit tracking (youtube-nocookie.com, and Vimeo'sdnt=1parameter), which reduces what is recorded but does not remove the connection. See Google/YouTube and Vimeo. - The social wall on the Social Wall page, which shows posts published on LinkedIn and Facebook through SociableKIT (
widgets.sociablekit.com). That widget in turn loads resources from other providers (data.accentapi.com,fonts.googleapis.com,cdnjs.cloudflare.com,maxcdn.bootstrapcdn.com). See SociableKIT's Privacy Policy.
Until you consent, each of these is replaced by a panel explaining what it is, with a button to accept it: no request reaches any of these providers before then.
6. Protecting the contact form
The contact form is protected by technical measures that use no cookies and involve no third party: a hidden field only automated systems fill in, a minimum completion time, and a limit on how many submissions may arrive in quick succession from the same IP address.
This site does not currently use Google reCAPTCHA or any other third-party anti-spam service. Should such a service be introduced, this notice will be updated before it goes live.
7. Consent register
So that consent can be demonstrated, as Article 7(1) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 requires, every choice made on the banner is recorded in the controller's systems with: date and time, the categories accepted or refused, the version of this notice, the language, the kind of action (accept, refuse, custom choice, withdrawal) and the random identifier held in the inf-consent cookie, which links a withdrawal to the consent it revokes.
Of your IP address only a cryptographic hash is kept, never the address itself: enough to tie two records from the same visitor together, useless for identifying that visitor. These records are not used for any other purpose and are not disclosed to third parties.
8. Giving, changing and withdrawing consent
On your first visit the site shows a banner offering accept all, refuse all, or a category-by-category choice. Refusing is exactly as easy as accepting, and refusing does not restrict your use of the site in any way.
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time through the Manage cookies link in the footer of every page. Withdrawal takes effect immediately: the page reloads without the tools you no longer allow.
When this notice changes materially its version (shown at the top) changes with it, and consent is requested again.
9. Images and media
Images are served from Infordata Sistemi's own content management system, which is the controller's infrastructure and not a third party. Typefaces are hosted on the site itself and are never requested from an external server. None of these requests sets cookies.
10. Data collected through the contact form
Data you enter in the contact form is stored in Infordata Sistemi's content management system and emailed to our internal addresses through the controller's own mail server. Purposes, legal basis, retention periods and your rights are described in the Privacy Policy.
11. Managing cookies and local storage in your browser
Whatever you choose on this site, you can delete stored data and prevent future storage through your browser settings at any time: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge. Note that clearing cookies also removes inf-consent, so the banner will appear again.
12. Changes
If other third-party services are added to this site (a support chat, for example), this notice will be updated before they go live and the relevant categories will be added to the banner.
